UAE President holds talks with Emir of Kuwait

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan held talks here yesterday at Al Rodah Palace with H.H. Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, in the presence of the Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Sheikh Khalifa welcomed Emir of Kuwait and his entourage, stressing that the visit would further boost the fraternal ties between the two countries and peoples. The two sides discussed the relations and ways to boost them in different fields. Sheikh Khalifa and Sheikh Sabah also tackled the joint GCC work, and exchanged views on the latest developments in the regional and international arenas. The UAE President and Emir of Kuwait reiterated to continue the cooperation in all fields in the best interest of the two peoples.

Sheikh Khalifa hosted a banquet in honour of Emir of Kuwait and the delegation accompanying him in the presence of a number of Sheikhs and senior officials. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
