UAE President invites GCC leaders to next summit in Abu Dhabi

President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, delivered the closing statement at the 25th GCC summit which yesterday. In the statement, Sheikh Khalifa welcomed the GCC leaders to the next summit, scheduled for Abu Dhabi next year. "Allow me, in the first place, to express my profound gratitude and appreciation to my Brother, His Majesty Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain, for his generous care for this summit and for his generous hospitality," Sheikh Khalifa said.



"It is also a great honour for me and the UAE people to invite you to the 26th GCC summit next year in your second home, the United Arab Emirates. I wish the Council great success and may the peace of Allah and his blessings be upon you," Sheikh Khalifa added. (The Emirates News Agency, WAM)
