The plane, which is the 19th of its kind to be dispatched by the RCS to the Palestinians, is being accompanied by a combined officials from the RCS and Emirates Committee for the Relief of Palestinians.

According to Khalifa Nasir Al Suwaidi, RCS Board Chairman, the consignment, which is being delivered to help alleviate the sufferings of the Palestinian people, came to crown the efforts of co-operation and coordination between the two organisations, seeking to provide the best humanitarian services to the Palestinians, adding that it also seeks to unite the country's efforts and enhance its role in humanitarian services. He pointed out that the coordination between the two organisations is in line with the directives of Dubai Crown Prince and UAE Defence Minister, General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, who is also the chairman of the UAE RCS.
