UAE RCS offers Dh 1 billion assistance to the needy world-wide

In line with the directives of President H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and close follow up of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, the UAE Red Crescent Society spent till last August, Dh. 1 billion on its humanitarian and charitable operations to the victims of catastrophes and the needy world-wide, wherein 95 countries benefited from this benevolent initiative.

A report released by the UAE RCS on the occasion of hosting the second forum of the donor countries for the International Association of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, IARCRC, here in Abu Dhabi next Saturday, said that the UAE RCS persists in handing over the assistance to the deserved, either through sending teams to deliver assistance through coordinating with the embassy of that country, or through the IARCRC.
