The UAE and Jordan yesterday signed a tourism agreement aimed at strengthening tourist ties between the two countries. The agreement was signed by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Minister of Information and Culture on the UAE side, and Dr. Alya Boran, Jordanian Minister of Environment and Tourism, signed for the Jordanian side. The agreement stipulates that both countries should take necessary measures to encourage tourism exchange and to facilitate travel agencies of both countries to organise trips to each of the two countries.
