Casablanca - The Made in UAE Exhibition ended yesterday with a number of major agreements signed with many Moroccan businessmen and companies. According to Faris Suhail Al Yabhouni, Director General of the General Exhibitions Corporation, GEC, the fair, which was held at the exhibitions centre under the auspices of Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, and which saw a large number of UAE government and privates industries displaying their latest manufactured products, was a great success, adding that it had contributed immensely in strengthening further the unique economic and commercial ties between the two countries.

He stressed that the UAE and Morocco already enjoy unique fraternal relations sustained and consolidated by the unique fraternal ties between the two countries' leadership, represented by the President His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the King Mohammed VI of Morocco, adding that the success of the exhibition also stemmed from the unstinting support to the GEC by Lt. General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces and the GEC Chairman, who ordered the provision of all the necessary facilities to ensure a great success for the exhibition.

He said the exhibition reflects the unique position of the UAE in the manufacturing field, and expressed the hope that more UAE companies would participate in the next exhibition, scheduled to take place in Oman in October. The five-day exhibition attracted over 25,000 visitors. (The Emirates News Agency, WAM
