The UAE Cabinet has issued the following statement on the developments in the sisterly Republic of Tunisia: The UAE has been closely following the latest developments in the sisterly Republic of Tunisia, and wishes quick restoration of the stability and security there. The UAE urges the Tunisian people in this delicate moment to stick together, to maintain national unity and to thwart any attempt to undermine Tunisia or its security and stability. It is important that in the time Tunisian people should unify their ranks to safeguard the achievements of their country on the institutional, legal and constitutional basis.

The UAE looks forward to Tunisia to overcome the current situation for the best interest of its people, and wishes stable and good living conditions for the people of Tunisia to continue playing their role at the Arab and international levels. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
