The UAE, based on the historic and outstanding relations between the UAE and the sisterly Republic of Sudan, the UAE is following with interest the development of events in Sudanese cities, and expresses its great concern over the unjustified violence in dealing with these events, as well as over the negative impact of this on the Sudanese society, and calls on the government of Sudan to exercise maximum wisdom and caution in dealing with the demonstrations and the popular demands which are largely related to the livelihood of people.

"The UAE also emphasises the need to ensure the preservation of the lives of civilians so as to preserve the stability of the state and the society of Sudan," Minister Gargash added. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
