The UAE yesterday condemned the blasts that occurred last night in the Egyptian resort of Taba in the Sinai Province. "The UAE condemns in the strongest possible terms the criminal bombings which occurred last light in Taba, Sinai,” said Abdullah Rashid Al Nuaimi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Al Nuaimi added that the bombings, which caused loss of lives and properties, deserve strong condemnation, as they constitute vicious acts aimed at spreading unrest and instability in the region. He also voiced the UAE solidarity with Egypt; saying that the Egyptian leadership was capable to combat such unwarranted criminal acts. (The Emirates News Agency, WAM)
