The Foreign Ministry of the United Arab Emirates yesterday expressed its condemnation of the attack carried out by US forces in the Syrian territories.

"The United Arab Emirates stresses that it is highly concerned over the consequences of this action on the regional peace since it is a violation of international legitimacy as well as the national sovereignty of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic", said the Ministry in a statement.

The Ministry also hailed the reaction of the Syrian leadership to the attack and the high degree of self-restraint it has exercised.

The statement of the Foreign Ministry called the United States to settle any differences with Syria through diplomatic means.

The Foreign Ministry extended its deepest condolences to the Syrian leadership and the families of the victims as well as its wishes of speedy recovery for those who were injured in the said aggression. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
