Beirut - Two UAE planes carrying 30 tonnes of relief supplies landed yesterday at Rafik Hariri International Airport, as part of an air-bridge to the war-battered country. The relief materials were delivered to the concerned authorities for distribution to the Lebanese people displaced by the Israeli aggression. The relief operation is being launched upon the directives of President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and is being closely monitored by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
