New York - UAE's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Jarman attended on Friday a special ceremony in New York to honour the graduates from UAE and other GCC states who had completed the 10th annual programme organised by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).

The training programme was held this year at the UN headquarters in New York from 1st to 16 September. The honouring ceremony held at the UAE Mission in New York was attended by a number of senior officials of UAE foreign ministry, representatives of GCC states to the UN, Arab ambassadors and UNITAR officials.

Jarman distributed the certificates among the graduates and wished them success in their diplomatic career and performance, especially during their participation in the 66th UN General Assembly. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
