UAE offers 7000 tons of relief material to Libya

Tripoli - The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has provided 7000 tons of different relief material to the Libyans who are going through critical humanitarian conditions, said a UAE relief official. "The UAE's aid to Libya consists of food stuff, ambulances, police uniforms, medical supplies. The operation started with the airlift which was launched by the UAE upon directives from President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan," head of the UAE Relief Team in Libya Abdul Rehman Abdul Aziz.

Meanwhile, the UAE Relief Team recently gave out more than 5000 school bags students in Tripoli and several other Libyan cities. The bags were donated by the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
