UAE partakes GCC Foreign Ministers' extraordinary meet on Yemen at Riyadh Air Base

RIYADH: The Foreign Ministers of the members of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) have held an extraordinary meeting at Riyadh Air Base Airport in the Saudi capital to discuss the situation and developments in Yemen.

Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, represented the UAE to the meeting which was chaired by Qatari Foreign Minister, Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, and attended by Abdul Lateef bin Rashid Al Zayani, Secretary-General of the GCC.

Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said that Deputy Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, Bahraini Foreign Minister, Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Omani Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, and Sheikh Sabah Al Hamad Al Sabah, Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, took part in the meeting. – Emirates News Agency, WAM –
