UAE pavilion gets acclaim at the biggest water festival on earth

Zaragoza, Spain - The UAE pavilion at Expo Zaragoza 2008 continued to enthral the visitors from various countries.

Visiting the distinctive pavilion at the world's largest water festival, a Thai delegation headed by the Commissioner of the Thai representation at the event, lauded the organisers of the UAE pavilion, saying that it truly reflected the breathtaking development of UAE over the past years.

UAE's pavilion supervised by the National Media Council (NMC) has earned wide acclaim since it opened its doors earlier in June. Over half a million visitors toured the pavilion, which narrates the history of UAE and its water management since the last 3000 years.

Expo Zaragoza is dedicated to the theme: 'Water and Sustainable development' and is a practical global search for the best way of using the scarce resource of water in the civilisational march.

The dignitaries were received at the pavilion by the Deputy Commissioner of the pavilion Ahmed Al-Shaibah.
