UAE presents power generators to authorities in Yemen

ADEN: The UAE has presented 50 power generators to the authorities in Aden, Yemen, as part of the UAE's efforts to put an end to the power-cuts in the governorate.

The Governor of Aden, Brigadier General Aidarous al-Zubaidi, extended thanks and appreciation to the UAE's leadership and people for supporting the Yemeni Governorate and the local authorities in Aden in improving services in the city.

While being briefed about the installation process of new power generators at Hujaif, Al Mualla, Al-Zubaidi hailed the great role being played by the UAE as part of the Arab Coalition forces to restore the legitimacy in Yemen. He also highlighted the country's efforts to support the power sector in Yemen.

He also noted that the power generators would contribute significantly towards alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people. He also indicated that living conditions in Aden are improving and the coming period will witness more achievements. - Emirates News Agency, WAM –
