UAE signs labour importation agreement with Syria

Damascus - The UAE has signed an organised labour importation agreement with Syria. Labour Minister, Saqr Ghobash signed the agreement for the UAE, while Syrian Minister of Social Affairs and Labour, Dr. Diyala Al-Hajj Arif, also signed for her side.



UAE Ambassador to Syria, Salim Qattam Al-Za'abi, a number of Syrian officials, Arab and foreign media representatives witnessed the agreement signing ceremony, which was held here at the premises of the ministry of social affairs and labour.



Based on the agreement, the Syrian social affairs and labour ministry will collaborate directly with the UAE labour ministry to export labour to the UAE market according to a well-organised system, rules and regulations that will help implement the agreement effectively.
