UAE stresses to boost human rights

Geneva - UAE Permanent Representative to United Nations in Geneva Ambassador Obaid Salem Al Zaabi, has stressed that the UAE was keen to continue working with all human rights commission mechanisms in line with identity and especial characteristics of the country. Delivering the UAE speech before the Human Rights Commission in Geneva, following a year after endorsement of the UAE report before the commission, Al Zaabi briefed the human rights commission about the UAE human rights record and achievements. He cited ratification of agreements, setting up of social care centres, as well as human rights bodies in the UAE. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
