UAE to host launch of UN Human Development Report

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) will launch the "Human Development Report" on 8th of this month here in Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research, the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi and Dubai Competitiveness Council. The event will be attended by senior state officials, members of the diplomatic corps, economists and local and international media representatives.

The UNDP Human Development Report Office annually publishes Human Development Report to measure and analyse developmental progress. In addition to a global Report, UNDP publishes regional, national, and local Human Development Reports. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
