Chairman of the RCS's Board of Directors Khalifa Nasser Al-Suwaidi said the most recent UAE's relief aid to Somalia is in line with the directives of President H.H. Accordingly, the emergency consignments, he said, include 1500 metric tonnes of rice, 1250 metric tonnes of sugar, 500 metric tonnes of flour among other food relief materials.

The relief materials will be distributed in Somalia in close cooperation with the international humanitarian agencies working on ground in Somalia, he added.
