UAE's RCS offers aid to Philippines

The UAE Red Crescent Society (UAERCS), offered material aid to the Philippines, under the instructions of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Head of UAERCS. This came in coordination with the International Union of Red Crescent and the Red Cross, after the floods that devastated a number of areas in the Philippines, within the attempts aiming to limit the disaster's consequences, mentioning that 25 thousand people are influenced, 388 were killed and 250 are missing.



Sanaa Darwish Al Kitbi, Secretary-General of the UAERCS, said that the society's efforts are being implemented in cooperation with the International Relief Organizations and Philippines' Red Cross. She added that the UAERCS is closely following up the catastrophe's effects, and is coordinating thru the International Union of Red Crescent and the Red Cross in order to keep acknowledged about latest developments.
