UAE's Red Crescent Society dispatches relief cargo to Central Africa

In accordance with the directives of General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, The UAE Red Crescent Society "RCS" is dispatching tomorrow a relief airplane to the Central Africa's Capital of Bangui.



The immediate relief air cargo is part of the humanitarian air lift that was launched to help thousands of families who have been displaced by strong floods in this African country which received previously three relief air cargos.



RCS' Board Chairman Khalifa Nasser Al Suwaidi said RCS in intent on continuing its relief operations and developmental projects in Africa to boost the locals' ability to cope with bad humanitarian following disasters. (Emirates News Agency, WAM)
