The two sides also discussed the foundation's US$850000 water well-drilling initiative and a US$100000 plan to support Mauritania's cultural centres and libraries. The Mauritanian ambassador expressed appreciation of the efforts being made by the UAE's foundation's to improve conditions in the poorest areas of Mauritania.
