UAE's third shipload reaches Umm Al Qasr

A Shipload of relief aid reached Umm Al Qasr yesterday as part of an assistance campaign launched by the UAE Red Crescent Society, RCS, on the directives of President H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The ship, the third in a row was carrying 44 containers of medicines and medical equipment and materials, donated by the Sheikh Zayed as part of the UAE's humanitarian programme aimed at assisting Iraqi people under the supervision of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and RCS Chairman. Abdullah Salim Al Dhaheri and Salim Ali Al Jenaibi, from the UAE RCS, who are accompanying the consignment, will supervise distribution process of medicines and medical equipment and materials to the Iraqi hospitals.
