UAQ Ruler orders renovation of mosques damaged by Israel in Gaza

UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain HH Sheikh Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla has ordered the construction of a grand mosque in Gaza. The mosque to be built with the ruler's expenses is an endowment in the name of the late Sheikh Rashid Bin Ahmed Al Mualla, who passed away earlier last week.

Sheikh Saud also ordered to renovate and re-equip all the mosques damaged in the Israeli bombardment and artillery fire.

The Ruler's initiative to rebuild the mosques pulled down by Israeli army is an expression of his support to the resistance of the Palestinian people and their struggle to free their homeland.

The construction works for the mosques will begin as soon as the ceasefire is enforced as per Security Council Resolution No.1860. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
