UNICEF thanks UAE for supporting child protection

The United Nations Children's Fund - UNICEF, in a letter, expressed thanks to the United Arab Emirate for supporting child protection programs and efforts to preserve heritage. The letter was delivered Thursday H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister on Thursday by Lara Adnan Hussein, UNICEF's chief of child protection for the Gulf area office In remarks at the meeting, Hussein hailed the humanitarian and educational assistance provided to children in developing countries by the UAE's Red Crescent Authority (RCA) and Dubai Care charity. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
