World Affairs Council of Washington grants UAE Ambassador Distinguished Diplomatic Service Award 2013

Washington D.C: World Affairs Council of Washington, DC (WAC-DC) has granted recently Ambassador Yousef Al Otaiba, Ambassador to the United States, the "Distinguished Diplomatic Service Award 2013" on behalf of the UAE diplomatic corps.

The award recognizes the work the UAE has done to strengthen its bilateral relationship with the US through diplomatic outreach and engagement.

Al Otaiba received the Award during a ceremony held by the Council on the occasion of Global Education Gala.

The officials of the Council hailed the outstanding efforts of the ambassador in the educational and humanitarian work inside the UAE, stressing the strong relations and the surging growth between the two countries, in the field of trade exchange and partnership contributed to building cultural bridges between the two countries. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
