Sanaa - Yemen wants to learn from the UAE judicial experience, according to the Yemeni Justice Minister, Dr. Ghazi Al Aghbari. He said his ministry would like to take advantage of the UAE long experience in court management, particularly the expedite processing of disputes by commercial courts.

Dr. Al Aghbari lauded the UAE historic support to his country, citing the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's contribution to the establishment of several development projects, including the reconstruction of the historical Ma'reb Dam. He also praised President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed for having financed phase 2 of the Dam at a cost of US$150 million. The Minister also lauded the UAE for having pledged US$500 million for financing development projects in Yemen. (Emirates News Agency, WAM)
