Yemeni Prime Minister and UAE Assistant Foreign Minister discuss bilateral cooperation

Sana'a - HE Dr Ali Mohammed Mujawar, Yemeni Prime Minister and HE Khalid Ghanim Al Ghaith, Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs have discussed cooperation between the two countries in economic, development fields and investment opportunities available in UAE.

During the meeting, Al Ghaith confirmed UAE's keenness to enhance relations with the Republic of Yemen and to support development programs in Yemen pointing out that his current visit aims to develop and strengthen cooperation in the investment area and to identify priorities in light of the various opportunities available during the current phase.

He also hailed role of the Joint Ministerial Commission in translating the aspirations of the leadership of both countries to achieve further cooperation and benefits for people of their countries.

For his part, Yemeni Prime Minister during his meeting with al-Ghaith and accompanying delegation expressed his thanks and appreciation to United Arab Emirates leadership, government and people for their support to economic and social development in Yemen.

Mujawar also referred to the distinguished bilateral relations between the people of UAE and Yemen and welcomed UAE investments stressing his government's keenness to provide various facilities and support to UAE investors so as to enhance the brotherly relations and serve the common interests of both countries. HE Khalid Ghanim Al Ghaith and his delegation arrived Sana'a yesterday on an official visit to Yemen.

The visit aims to discuss bilateral cooperation in the investment and economic fields in the framework of the UAE-Yemeni Joint Committee. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
