Under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Education and Chancellor of Zayed University, preparations are on to launch a project that will document achievements of President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan since he became the country's leader, succeeding late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

The projects, being implemented by the Zayed University's students to coincide with the country's celebrations of national day in December, is also pooling efforts of other organisations and personalities in the UAE.

"The project is an initiative by the students to express their love to His Highness the President," Dr. Haneef Hassan, the University's Vice-Chancellor said in a press conference held here today. The project's main feature is an exhibition displaying different aspects of Sheikh Khalifa's personality, including decorations conferred on him, mementos, books, news and interviews. Proceedings from the project will go for maintenance of public schools. (The Emirates News Agency, WAM)
