New Delhi - UAE Minister for State Reem Al Hashemi urged both Emirati and Indian businessmen to explore new creative ideas to further bolster bilateral trade and economic relations.

Al Hashemi, who was speaking before the Youth leaders Organisation forum hosted by UAE Ambassador to India Mohammed Sultan Al Owais, pledged to encourage any initiative from the Organisation members so as to build a bridge for interaction and exchange of expertise and information.

She said the two-way trade exchange stood at US$45 billion last year including investment in India. The level of trade exchange is good, she said but hoped for increasing flow of UAE investment to India. She indicated that there were 400 air flights between the two countries and more than 22,000 Indian companies are operating in the UAE. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
