Speakers of GCC Shura and Deputies Councils and National Assemblies, will gather in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, on 22nd November 2010, for their fourth meeting at the invitation of Speaker of the UAE Federal National Council (FNC) Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair.

Al Ghurair said the regular parliamentary gathering at the Emirates palace will be convened ahead of the 31st GCC Summit which Abu Dhabi will host in December 2010.

He said the meeting will review a report on the progress of the joint GCC march and discuss the annual coordination plan for parliamentary and diplomatic engagements at international forums.

He hoped the meeting would produce positive recommendations conducive to enhancement of the joint GCC parliamentary action and deepening cooperation and integration between the GCC member states. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
