Tunisia - The Tunisian Prime Minister, Mr. Mohamed Ghannouchi, received here yesterday the visiting UAE Minister of Health H.E. Dr Hanif Hassan Ali. The meeting was attended by Public Health Minister Mondher Zenaidi, and Abdullah Ibrahim Ghanim Al-Suwaidi, UAE Ambassador to Tunisia, and the UAE accompanying delegation and number of senior officials in the two countries.
During the meeting, they discussed ways of enhancing and developing bilateral relations between UAE and Tunisia.
Dr Hanif stressed UAE's keenness to develop cooperation with Tunisia under the leadership of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
He added that he had briefed the Tunisian Prime Minister on the medical cooperation programmes that have been agreed to with Public Health Minister Mondher Zenaidi including the health tourism and drug manufacturing and joint accreditation programmes.
