du honours Government Institutions

Under the patronage and presence of HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, on the occasion of its fifth anniversary, du held its first gratitude forum yesterday, where it honoured all Government Institutions that have supported the telecom on its journey to success.

The event took place at the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi, opening with the UAE national anthem, followed by opening speeches from Ahmed Bin Byat, Chairman of du, and Osman Sultan, CEO, du. Emirati actor and TV anchor, Saoud Al Kaabi, acted as MC throughout the morning session.

"We would like to take this opportunity to thank HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his patronage and support of this event. Sheikh Mansour's contribution and support extends back to our earliest days; he was the first person to make a call on our network. We extend our thanks to every Government Institution that has played a part in scripting our success story over the past five years. It has been an incredible journey, and we look forward to their continued support in the years to come," said Ahmed Bin Byat.

"We are honoured today to present a token of appreciation for the continued support of the UAE's to Government Institutions, and we are proud of the deep and meaningful relationships we have formed during this time," said Osman Sultan. Present at the event were senior representatives from UAE Ministries, Authorities and media, including her Excellency Maryam Mohammed Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of Social Affairs. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
