The United Arab Emirates slammed Iran on Tuesday for terming as a "misunderstanding" their row over three Gulf islands, saying the islands were under Iranian occupation and were no less precious than Arab lands occupied by Israel. Labourers, domestic servants, and those working in farming or herding should not be allowed to reside in the country for more than six years at a time, according to a recommendation of the Federal National Council (FNC).
