New York - UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has welcomed UAE's decision to write off all debts on Iraq. The debt amounting to USD 4bn that was paid to Iraq over the last several years was written off along with interest by a decision in July by President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Chemical weapons law to be amended Posted on 12/05/2008
The ministerial legislative committee has approved a number of amendments to Law No. 40 (2006) regarding ban on developing, manufacturing, stockpiling or using chemical weapons.
