H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region, Chairman of Red Crescent Authority (RCA), has ordered the authority to provide rapid aid to families hit by recent rains at Al Qua area.

![]() Relief aid sent to homeless families in Haiti

Etihad Airways has shipped more than 6,700 kg of aid that was donated by members of its staff in the UAE to victims of the earthquake in Haiti. The donations were deposited in special collection boxes which were placed around Etihad's head office, training academy and crew accommodation buildings in Abu Dhabi over a four week period.

Port-au-Prince - The Emirates World Humanitarian Mobile Hospital for emergency has ended its programmes for the victims of the Haitian earthquake. More than 1,100 people benefitted from its medical services in Port-au-Prince.

Port-au-Prince - The Haitian government has hailed the humanitarian efforts extended by the Red Crescent Authority of UAE in various areas to mitigate the sufferings of the Haitian people.

Port-au-Prince - The Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Charitable Foundation convoy yesterday arrived at Port-au-Prince, Haiti to distribute relief items to earthquake victims. The convoy included seven trucks carrying 200 tons of food, medical aid and humanitarian supplies to implement the second phase, which was ordered by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to provide emergency aid to Haiti after the damage and loss resulting from the earthquake.

The UAE Office for the Coordination of Foreign Aid (OCFA), established by a federal government mandate to support the nation's delivery of foreign humanitarian and development aid, announced that total emergency aid contributions made by UAE-based donor organisations to victims of the Haiti disaster have reached Dh26.4 million.

Santo Domingo - The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Charity Foundation sent yesterday a convoy of humanitarian assistance as part of its aid programme targeting quake victims in Haiti.
A Foundation press release said the 7 truck convoy, which carries 200 tonnes of relief, food and medical supplies, is part of the second phase of the Foundation's relief programme instructed by UAE President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The Government of Dominican has appreciated tireless efforts being made by the UAE to deliver urgent humanitarian and relief assistance to quake-victims in Haiti.

 UAE professionals unite to launch charity initiative

A new charity initiative has been launched to help the people of Haiti, three weeks after an earthquake destroyed large parts of the Caribbean nation. UAE for Haiti, supported by In Dubai We Trust, is raising money for the UAE Red Crescent's aid efforts, including the establishment of a field hospital near the capital, Port-Au-Prince.
The charity arrived in the devastated country following the 7.0-magnitude quake with much-needed medical and food supplies.

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic - The Khalifa Charity Foundation delivered in Dominican Republic humanitarian relief aid to Good Samaritan Hospital and orphanage at the borders of Haiti .
