Their Highness the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates and Crown Princes today offered Eid Al Fitr prayers across the UAE and received well-wishers.
In Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received well-wishers, who came to greet him on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr at Zaabel Palace.

The Moon Sighting Committee has announced that Sunday will be the 30th of Sha'aban.

Ramadan Crescent Moon Sighting Committee set up Posted on 28/07/2011
A committee to sight the crescent moon that marks the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan in the UAE for the current Hijri year 1432 was set up Wednesday by a ministerial decree by Justice Minister Dr Hadif Jua'an Al Dhaheri.
Membership of the newly-set up moon-sighting committee which is chaired by the minister himself, includes senior Awqaf (endowments) officials, judiciary officials, religious counsellors and members of the astronomical society.

The Khalifa bin Zayed Humanitarian Foundation (KZHF) has launched the dates distribution project to sisterly and friendly countries before the advent of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
