Dubai World Cup hopefuls Bold Silvano, Prince Bishop, Master Of Hounds and Dubai Prince are among the horses in action at Meydan this evening as the Dubai World Cup Carnival steps up a gear.
The Group 2 Maktoum Challenge II, over 1900m on Tapeta, is the Thoroughbred feature and all eyes will be on Godolphin's Dubai Prince making his UAE debut and only the third start for Mahmood Al Zarooni.

The Emirates Racing Authority has approved a modification to the race fixture schedule for Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club with the first day of racing to be held on Sunday October 30th. The UAE's capital will now hold the first race meeting for the 2011/2012 season, followed by the November 4th race meeting at Jebel Ali Racecourse and the November 10th race meeting at Meydan Racecourse. H. H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister of UAE, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Emirates Racing Authority, has approved the fixtures list for the 2011/2012 racing seasons at Jebel Ali Racecourse, Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club, Meydan Racecourse and Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club.
