Rashed Al-Tayer and John Tomlinson will represent Team Abu Dhabi in this weekend's Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi, which will host the opening two rounds of the UIM Class 1 World Powerboat Championship on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
The pair will line-up alongside nine rival boats for two races on Thursday and Friday and will be looking to build upon the form that both crewmen showed last season. Team Abu Dhabi runs the number five boat built by Victory and running with Victory V12 engines.

The UAE's Rashid Al Tayer and Italian throttleman Giovanni Carpitella clinched the first Class 1 win of their careers on Saturday as Team Abu Dhabi took the chequered flag in the opening race of an incident-packed Swedish Grand Prix in Uddevalla.
Starting their first race together, Al Tayer and Carpitella took the advantage after race favourites Fazza and pole position winners Welmax both crashed out in separate incidents that saw the race re-started twice.

The world watersports family joined the Dubai-based Victory Team in mourning the loss of Mohammad Bin Majid Al Muhairi and Jean-Marc Sanchez who died in an accident during Friday's 2009 UIM/WPPA Class One World Powerboat Championship.
