Following an industry-wide slump in occupancy levels in the last quarter of 2009, some of the leading hotels in Dubai have reported a comeback during Dubai Shopping Festival that concludes on February 28.

The DSF Office has announced dates for the 2010 edition of Dubai Shopping Festival and Dubai Summer Surprises as it presents a preview of DSF 2010 to a global audience at the World Travel Market 2009, which begins on November 9, and goes on till November 12 in London. The 14th edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), the region's biggest shopping extravaganza, closed on Sunday with a glittering ceremony at Dubai Festival City.
Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, awarded prizes and thanked sponsors, marking the end of the 32-day event.

After a month long of exciting potpourri of entertainment, discounts and offers, the DSF comes to a successful closing ceremony today.

H.H. Sheikh Majid Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, visited the Watani Family Camp, one of the major attractions of the fourteenth edition of the DSF on Saturday, January 24.

This year's edition of the month-long Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) is likely to see consumers spending rise to Dh10 billion and visitor numbers reach 3.2 million, a top official said.

A spectacular acrobatic show performed by the Chinese State Circus at the Dubai Festival City was one of the highlights of the opening day of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) on Thursday. More than 30 world-class acrobats and martial arts masters stretched the limits of human endurance.
