Dubai Cruise Terminal launches new era Posted on 24/02/2010
The city's new cruise terminal was opened yesterday in a combined ceremony with the inauguration of the cruise ship Costa Deliziosa, the first such event in an Arab city.
"This is a special day for us," said Hamad Bin Mejren, Executive Director, Business Tourism, Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM).

The number of cruise passengers arriving at Abu Dhabi Terminals (ADT) could grow by more than 100 per cent this year as more ships are attracted to the region. Passenger numbers increased to 90,004 last year, up from 71,467 in 2008.
