Dolphin Energy seeks more gas from Qatar

Dolphin Energy, the Abu Dhabi firm that imports gas from Qatar, is in talks with Qatar Petroleum to increase its gas supply by up to 15 per cent. Dolphin Energy signs US$4.1bn refinancing deal

Abu Dhabi-based Dolphin Energy has signed a US$4.1 billion (Dh15bn) debt package that refinances a US$3.45bn debt facility that was due to mature at the end of July, said people close to the deal. Last week the company issued a US$1.25bn, 10-year bond, which was the final tranche to be completed. Abu Dhabi-based Dolphin Energy will raise US$4.1 billion (Dh15bn) through bank loans and a bond issue, according to international ratings agencies Fitch Ratings and Moody's Investors Service. The senior debt mainly comprises a bank debt facility, supplemented by bonds and US$1.2bn of co-lending by the project's sponsors (Affiliate Debt). Dolphin Energy Ltd, an Abu Dhabi state-controlled venture that transports natural gas to the rest of the UAE, will complete construction of a pipeline from Abu Dhabi to Fujairah by the end of 2010. Dolphin Energy Ltd., the government- controlled venture that transports natural gas from Abu Dhabi to the rest of the UAE, plans to increase its fuel supply by more than half and increase pipeline capacity. Dolphin Energy signs US$3b refinancing loans

London - Abu Dhabi-based Dolphin Energy has signed US$3 billion of loans that will part refinance a US$3.45 billion debt facility maturing in July, two banking sources close to the deal said. Dolphin Energy Limited announced yesterday the award of the construction contract for its new Taweelah to Fujairah Gas Pipeline (TFP) across the UAE to Stroytransgaz PJSC of Russia. Dolphin Energy announced Tuesday that work is about to begin to fence key sections of its Al Ain to Fujairah Gas Pipeline (AFP).
