Dolphin Energy, the Abu Dhabi firm that imports gas from Qatar, is in talks with Qatar Petroleum to increase its gas supply by up to 15 per cent.
The Qatari national oil company said it might be able to increase the gas it supplied Dolphin under interruptible contracts to as much as 400 million cubic feet per day from about 90 million cfd currently.

Dolphin Energy Limited announced yesterday that it had reached the first of three major completion milestones for its Taweelah to Fujairah Gas Pipeline (TFP) project. Commissioning of early gas facilities is now complete at Dolphin Energy's Gas Receipt Station that services ADWEC's new power and water desalination plant at Qidfa, Fujairah. Dolphin Energy signs US$4.1bn refinancing deal Posted on 28/07/2009
Abu Dhabi-based Dolphin Energy has signed a US$4.1 billion (Dh15bn) debt package that refinances a US$3.45bn debt facility that was due to mature at the end of July, said people close to the deal. Last week the company issued a US$1.25bn, 10-year bond, which was the final tranche to be completed.

Dolphin Energy signs US$3b refinancing loans Posted on 28/04/2009
London - Abu Dhabi-based Dolphin Energy has signed US$3 billion of loans that will part refinance a US$3.45 billion debt facility maturing in July, two banking sources close to the deal said.
The new loans are a 10-year, US$2.6 billion commercial tranche and a 10-year, US$400 million tranche that is guaranteed by Italian export credit agency Gruppo Sace, the sources said.

Dolphin Energy Limited announced yesterday the award of the construction contract for its new Taweelah to Fujairah Gas Pipeline (TFP) across the UAE to Stroytransgaz PJSC of Russia. Site work will begin during third quarter 2008.
