 Speaker of Swedish Parliament to start a five-day trip to UAE today

H.E. Per Westerberg, Speaker of the Swedish Parliament (Sveriges riksdag), will embark today on a five-day visit to the UAE in response to an invitation extended to him by Speaker of UAE Federal National Council (FNC) H.E. Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair.

 FNC releases new edition of amended constitution

A new pocket-size edition of the UAE Constitution, complete with amendments approved in December 2009 by the Federal Supreme Council has been released by General Secretariat of the Federal National Council (FNC).
The amendments incorporated in the new edition were endorsed unanimously by the Federal National Council (FNC) on Jan 27th, on the amendment of constitution at one of its 14th legislative chapter sessions which discussed draft law number 1/2009.

Kampala - Speaker of the Federal National Council HE Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair said that the UAE will give its best in the next presidency of the Council of the Islamic Parliamentary Union during its 13th round that begins on Sunday and will last for a year.

All UAE citizens are invited to take part in the decision-making process by submitting their suggestions and opinions to members of the Federal National Council (FNC), Abdul Aziz Abdullah Al Ghurair, the FNC speaker has said.
