London - The UAE embassy in London issued a statement to clarify media reports of "underage" camel jockeys in the UAE.
The following is the text of the statement:
The UAE reiterates that it considers the use of underage children for commercial camel racing to be exploitative. The UAE banned the use of child jockeys in commercial camel racing in 2002 and is committed to enforcing that ban.

Windhoek - UAE Ambassador to South Africa and non-resident Ambassador to Namibia Ismail Al Ali met yesterday President Hifikepunye Lucas Pohamba of Namibia at the Presidential Palace.

London - The UAE Embassy in London issued a statement regarding the allegations published today in the Guardian newspaper, which said that Emirati diplomats in UK have been responsible for trafficking domestic staff into Britain. Berne - Ending a two-day meeting the UAE delegation and the Swiss Confederation initialled a draft agreement of mutual exemption of visa for holders of diplomatic and private passports between the two countries. The Visa Waiver Agreement between the UAE and Croatia and Austria has gone into force, the UAE Foreign Ministry announced yesterday.
