New York - The United Arab Emirates urged the United Nations on Friday to work to protect women and children during armed conflicts, and to get those who are detained among them as hostages or prisoners released. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) welcomed the UAE's donation of US$ 2.5 million to its budget.
