The United Arab Emirates represented by the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has signed an Air Services Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sri Lanka in Colombo, to increase flights between the two countries. The UAE has joined a group of seven countries in further liberalising its air space by signing Bilateral Air Service Agreements under the International Air Transport Association's (IATA) Multilateral Statement of Policy Principles. The UAE represented by the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has signed an Air Services Agreement (ASA) and Memorandum of Understanding with Bulgaria. Etihad Airways has said it will provide Kuwait-based air travellers with greater access to its expanding global network, following the signing of a new code share agreement with Kuwait Airways on flights between Kuwait and Abu Dhabi, said the UAE national carrier in a press release.
