The IT Students' Conference was inaugurated on Wednesday by H.E Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Chancellor of the Higher Colleges of Technology.

 Business leaders peg slower growth in Arab economies

Arab economies will grow at a slower pace of 3.9 per cent in 2009 as a result of global financial turmoil and a sharp decline in oil revenues, the head of the Chambers of Commerce in the Middle East said on Tuesday.
