The UAE has announced a US$ 10 million grant funding to the Comoro Islands as a contribution to the development and reconstruction efforts in the Arab country. The grant is upon directives from President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Emirates World Humanitarian Mobile Hospital has conducted tens of successful open heart surgeries in Bosnia-Herzegovina under supervision of international heart surgeons led by the UAE national heart surgeon Dr Adel Al Shamri, Chief Executive of the Emirates World Mobile Hospital and Chairman of the Emirates Heart Group.

UAE grants Dh50million in supplementary aid for refugee camp in Yemen Posted on 18/02/2010
Acting upon the directives of President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to provide humanitarian aid for the people of Yemen in solidarity with them, HH General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces has ordered a grant of Dh50 million to support UAE's Mazraq Camp 2 in Yemen.
