The UAE has announced a US$ 10 million grant funding to the Comoro Islands as a contribution to the development and reconstruction efforts in the Arab country. The grant is upon directives from President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The announcement came during the "Conference in Support of Development and Investment in Comoros" held in the Qatari capital between March 9th and 10th.  Zayed Charity Delegation conducts successful open heart surgeries in Bosnia-Herzegovina

Emirates World Humanitarian Mobile Hospital has conducted tens of successful open heart surgeries in Bosnia-Herzegovina under supervision of international heart surgeons led by the UAE national heart surgeon Dr Adel Al Shamri, Chief Executive of the Emirates World Mobile Hospital and Chairman of the Emirates Heart Group.

 RCA builds health centre in Damascus

The UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA) has established a charitable health clinic at Hujeira in Damascus to deliver health care services to internally displaced persons (IDPs) from Golan Heights as part of its development projects in health sector.  UAE grants Dh50million in supplementary aid for refugee camp in Yemen

Acting upon the directives of President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to provide humanitarian aid for the people of Yemen in solidarity with them, HH General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces has ordered a grant of Dh50 million to support UAE's Mazraq Camp 2 in Yemen.

 ADFD funds two projects in Morocco

The Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) and "Muntada Asilah" Foundation in Morocco here yesterday signed two agreements to fund two projects in Morocco costing around Dh31 million.

Cairo - The United Arab Emirates has paid its share of financial assistance pledged for Somalia and Sudan by the Arab Summit in Doha. Lahore - President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari inaugurated Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al- Nahyan Medical and Dental College Lahore at Governor's House here yesterday.
