Eida issues IDs in 24-hour ‘urgent service’

The Emirates Identity Authority, Eida, issued ID card within 24 hours from the time of application submission through the "urgent service” in 11 centres across the country. 

These centres are located at Al Wehdah, Al Barsha, Sharjah, Al Ain, Rashidiya, Karama, Zayed City, Ajman, Umm Al Qaiwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.

The interactive website of the Emirates Identity Authority has attracted around 2 million visits during the first half of the year, which is similar to the figures for the same period last year.
